Hi Folks,

I have an HP Proliant ML110 server and planning to use it for the sake of building a virtualization lab.
what do you guys think about it, do you have any other server recommendation for this ?

Thanks,

Hi Fadi,

The ESXI hypervisor is not compatible with ML110 Servers, please check the following link.
If you would like to stick on HP Brand, I would recommend you select one of the servers listed in the above link or a Dell Poweredge T110 is a good way to go.

ML110 can be used to run free non-enterprise VMware without ESXi ( non bare metal virtualization , meaning you need an OS first like windows or etc ) like any other computer nowadays .
